Responsibilities:
- Day to Day Software Lead for small project
- Mentor junior engineers
- Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
- Modify existing c++ and java software to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance. This is not a web development role.
- Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
- Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
- Confer with system engineers and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces
- Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
- Write or review software and system documentation
- Coordinate software system installation at customer sites
- Peer review teammates code
Must-haves:
- Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
- Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools
- Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
- Understanding of C++, Java, Embedded Systems and Linux Small Project/Team Lead
- 5+ years of Leadership Experience

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $143,487.14 - $197,294.82. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
