Position Summary
Responsible for field applications, system design, and customer product development/enhancement. Provide a medium which increases sales and spanet share of hydraulic motion control products.
Scope/Supervision and Interaction
Does Not Have Direct Reports
Work with Territory Managers/ distributors, spaneting and product teams adapting product to customer needs.
Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitates newer H.S.E. training.
- Support hydraulic design and electronic interface.
- Consult with division non new product development and spaneting.
- Assist territory and regional manager in adapting current and new products to customer need and satisfaction.
- Assist the regional manager in managing the technical qualification of the H.T.C distributor network.
- Provide technical expertise on product and total system design applications to close on final sale.
- Consult with customers regarding product and capabilities.
- Assist design and manufacturing in the development of new and/or revised product systems according to customer requirements.
- Provide timely reports summarizing findings on a given product or project.
- Make good, sound business judgment.
- Teaches or facilitates territory manager in technical training of customers and distributors.
- Will have direct account responsibility as needed.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4-10 years in Fluid Power sales and/or engineering.
- Advanced technical competence in hydraulics.
- 4 year college degree in engineering, business or spaneting.
