Job Description SummaryIn your role, you will own the execution of the Direct Energy Deposition (DED) technology maturation and the coordination of the assigned NTI additive projects.

Coordinate and execute assigned DED projects to progress additive manufacturing/technology readiness and robustness to production standard.
Be responsible for assigned projects spending review and budget planning.
Coordinate and lead the cross-functional team to achieve program targets and required quality standards (MAE, system, GSC, external suppliers, sourcing, quality, …)
Monitor and track project milestones in order to highlight potential criticality, define reaction plan and eventually setting up required escalation.
Oversee the overall DED value stream for reaching producibility targets of the whole manufacturing process.
Support the definition and evolution of additive roadmap within the organization (including Material development, new modalities, and innovative post-processing technologies) in order to reach company goals
According with all the lesson learnt provide feedback to improve/align current DPs and methods.
Remain current in the state of the art within own technical specialty for new products introduction activity, performance improvements, cost reductions and problem resolutions.
Support the requested External funding bid and proposal initiatives Design with additive logic the assigned PNs and develop/consolidate relative Business cases.
Proactively support and/or execute other Engineering tasks and initiatives.
Participate as a lead presenter in technical and project reviews.
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks are consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelors degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
Strong experience in additive industrialization processes
Strong experience in developing additive technologies
Strong experience in design for additive role.
Excellent knowledge of Lean principals and tools
Fluency in English and Italian language, both written and oral;
The ability to work under pressure with other team members.
