Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a self-motivated Staff RF Antenna Engineer to take an active role in the Applied Research High Power Electromagnetic (HPEM) programs team in our beautiful Grand Prairie, TX facility.
What You Will Be Doing
You will lead projects to identify and apply new game-changing antenna technologies to a variety of novel HPEM applications.
This person will be asked to solve loosely defined and inherently unstructured problems while working with interdisciplinary and geographically diverse teams.
This individual must be comfortable leading research and development projects from concept through proposal and execution with little to no supervision or direction.
You should have an advanced understanding of electromagnetic theory and electronic properties of materials.
You should have expertise in electronic/optical/dielectric materials and characterizations for integration into RF devices, especially in antennas.
The candidate will be comfortable sharing knowledge and experience through the mentorship of early career engineers and university research partners.
This position will be based on-site in sunny Grand Prairie, TX.

Basic Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering/RF Engineering/Physics Degree or Similar
• Demonstrated expertise in Antenna Design
• Experience building, troubleshooting, and testing prototype hardware
• Experience using test & diagnostic apparatus (i.e. Lab Equipment)
• Experience with modeling and simulation in CST or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Mechanical CAD software.
• Familiarity with layout and schematic capture tools such as Expedition.
**Must currently have an active Secret Clearance prior to start.
Desired Skills:
• PhD in Electrical Engineering/RF Engineering/Physics or Similar
• High Power Microwave Antenna research, development, and integration experience
• Demonstrated ability to distill complex technical concepts and solutions into clear, concise communication.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
