StandardAero is seeking motivated, eager, and innovative students looking to join our Engineering team for an internship opportunity. As an intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence.
Over the course of your internship, you will have the opportunity to: Determine and document the modification of products being processed for repair or overhaul to verify compliance to the applicable regulatory and customer requirements.

What you’ll do:
Create Shop Aids for Engine Maintenance procedures
Participate in continuous improvement projects with engineers on Waterjet, Liburdi Welder, Plasma Systems and Vacuum Furnace repair processes.
Complete assigned projects related to the Engineering group/discipline
Review and/or create drawings and sketches of tools and fixtures
Perform engineering calculations, analyses, development of drawings and specifications
Assist with Tooling-related projects (e.g. New Tooling Fabrication, Tooling validation)
Position Requirements:
Seeking students/interns who are pursuing their Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Strong attention to detail, with interest in process improvement
Software Requirements:
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
CAD Software (AutoCAD or equivalent)
