Your Role
As the System Safety Engineering Coordinator, you will be part of the NGA Engineering Function System Safety team, which provides coordination of System Safety Program activities on assigned NGA Programs and Captures. You will be responsible for:
- Provide system safety coordination on assigned programs and captures
- Manage platform hazards realised in operations, maintenance, design, or arising from changes in the configuration, role, and environment, to ensure that the hazards are addressed
- Maintain program System Safety Program Plans
- Providing advice to program management, engineering and technical staff, regarding their responsibilities within the system safety program, and the broader safety management system
About You
As a Systems Safety professional you will have the ability to build a broad array of working relationships across multiple stakeholder groups. You will have:
- An Engineering or other relevant Degree with relevant experience as a Systems Safety Professional
- Knowledge of aircraft certification standards, MIL-STD-882, ARP4761 or other System
- Safety standards
- Experience in completing detailed risk analysis
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple disciplines
