The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking experienced System Engineers to be part of a team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity.

As part of the NGI Engineering team, you will perform tasks related to the development of the overall system. You should have an understanding of one or more key system engineering subject areas to include system architecture, requirement allocation, requirement verification, and system integration.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related discipline
• Familiar with Systems Engineering processes across a product life cycle (e.g. design, requirements verification/validation, production, etc.
• Must be eligible and willing to obtain a DoD Secret Level Security Clearance - U.S. Citizenship required
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of processes in one or more of the following areas:
1. Requirement Identification, decomposition and allocation
2. Interface control document and element specification development and management
3. Planning or performance of requirement
4. System-level missile system analysis
5. Hardware and/or software test planning and/or execution
6. System Integration
7. Missile Systems Engineering
8. CONOPS or Architecture Development
9. Experience using MATLAB or other analysis tools
10. System level trade studies
• Active or Current DoD Secret Security Clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
