In the role of Systems Engineer II, youll play a pivotal part on our Engineering team. The Systems Engineer will take ownership and/or support technical engineering projects related to water and waste systems and components. Using sound engineering principles, this engineer will work to ensure robust, airworthy systems and components are configured.

This position contributes to our vision by:
•tSubject matter expert for the assigned water or waste system or components.
•tSubject matter expert for system control, software and communication.
•tProvides input to programs and projects.
•tAble to work independently to support system or sustaining engineering efforts.
•tTakes responsibility (technical and project management) of a water and/or waste system or components with support from management and/or higher level engineers.
•tInterfaces with the internal customers and is the primary technical point of contact for his/her system.
•tReview and process engineering changes in the development of water and waste systems and their components.
•tUtilizes sound technical problem solving to own or support ongoing and new projects.
•tPerform research and/or testing for troubleshooting and presents design changes for consideration.
•tMay interface with new suppliers with guidance.
•tEnsures compliance of redesign solutions, performance, safety and reliability to ensure a robust system design.
•tInterfaces with the external customer and is a technical point of contact.
•tPerforms root cause failure analysis that lead to design solutions or corrective actions.
•tOther duties as assigned.
