National Security Space Remote Sensing - Right for you!
Come join Lockheed Martins National Security Space Remote Sensing (RS) Engineering Team. This diverse team has been a primary provider of national Remote Sensing capabilities for over 50+ years. As part of our team you will get to build products that elevate the mission and be a trusted partner for critical national capabilities.
As a devops developer focused on Command and Telemetry Integration, you will:
• Develop tools, processes, and procedures for defining, integrating and validating a Command and Telemetry Database.
• Develop innovative automation methods for accelerating the design, build, test, and release process utilizing Agile and DevOps processes.
• Work with Customers, Contractors, and internal SMEs to identify and resolve issues within the database or Command & Telemetry Interfaces.
• Develop new and creative ways to capture, present and visualize engineering data and documentation in a web-based environment.
• Develop new and creative web-centric applications, standards and processes to modernize & automate command and telemetry databases

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with one or more systems engineering
functions including:
a) System trade studies, CONOPS, constraints and/or system modeling
b) Requirements, Interface Control Document (ICD), or Interface Definition Document (IDD) development
c) System integration, fault management, test and/or verification
d) Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies
• Active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain and investigation completed within the last 5 years.
Desired Skills:
• 9+ years of experience with spacecraft architecture design, development, integration, test, with knowledge of space, missile and launch systems at the component through system level
• Experience developing web-based tools to facilitate the automation of data entry, visualization, or auditing from a database.
• Experience developing Spacecraft Command and Telemetry Databases, Telemetry Formats, or Operational telemetry Limits.
• Experience with GitLab, Jira and Confluence Software. Include the development of DevSecOps Pipeline and process automation.
• Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering tools (Cameo, Rhapsody, etc)
• Experience with a software scripting/programming language (e.g. Python, Java, HTML, JavaScript, Matlab, Visual Basic, C/C++, etc.)
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, APEX, AWS and PostgreSQL.
• Strong presentation skills and capable of briefing audiences of varying technical knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with investigation in the last 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
