What are your contributions to the team?
- Support one or more software engineering teams using Kanban/Scrum Agile methodologies in a SAFe environment.
- Provide visibility into delivery targets, commitments, and progress.
- Work with the team to identify upstream and downstream dependencies.
- Proactively identify and resolve impediments. Communicate and escalate blockers to appropriate parties.
- Lead team in PI (quarterly) planning efforts ensuring capacity is respected and company is clear on delivery expectations.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with various departments.
- Support the Product Owner on the release of new features and digital initiatives based on priorities provided.
- Lead, and coach your team in the delivery of products or projects, ensuring team actions are aligned with project and business goals.
- Lead daily scrum meetings, sprint reviews, retrospective and maintain backlogs.
- Assist in Identifying key metrics that will be used to evaluate success.
How to thrive in this role?
- You have at least 4 years of Agile experience utilizing Scrum, Kanban.
- You have experience using SAFe methodologies.
- You possess a bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or similar field.
- You have more than two (2) years’ experience in developing software applications for a Cloud environment.
- You have more than two (2) years’ experience with Jira or Confluence (Asset)
- You are a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) (Asset).
- You are a Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) (Asset).
- You are SAFe certified (Asset).
- You have experience working with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products.
- You have strong organizational skills.
- You have strong oral and written English communications skills and functional French communication skills are desired.
