Integration Engineering Technician II - A

Responsibilities:
- Conduct hands-on environmental stress screening (thermal, vibration, and pressure) on flight hardware following established procedures.
- Install, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain vibration tables, thermal chambers, pressure systems, and DAQ equipment, including PTs, TCs, voltage, and current mass flow meters.
- Collaborate with test engineers and management to coordinate daily test activities and ensure schedule alignment.
- Maintain and clean machines, equipment, and work areas in compliance with 5S standards and maintenance protocols.
- Safely set up and operate systems in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Manage multiple test projects simultaneously while adhering to operational schedules.
- Configure test setups, fixtures, and instrumentation based on test plans and industry standards.
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate potential cost, schedule, and technical risks.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; associate or technical degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in environmental testing or related fields like vibration, shock, or specification performance.
- 3–5 years of relevant hands-on experience in manufacturing or testing environments.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with manufacturing and test processes, including data acquisition systems, analysis, and processing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, shop orders, and work instructions.
- Experience with electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic test equipment.
- Proficiency with software systems, databases, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong organizational abilities, including prioritization, scheduling, and reporting.
- Self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity, build trust, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. for limited durations.
- Eligibility: Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted as a refugee or asylee.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems, non-conformance systems, ticketing, and order scheduling tools.
- Knowledge of GSE fittings and calibrated equipment maintenance.
- Proficiency in applying test instrumentation (e.g., pressure transducers, thermocouples, RTDs, strain gauges, accelerometers, flow meters).
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with National Instruments, Dewesoft, Arduino, LabVIEW, and Test Stand
