Integration Engineering Technician - A

Contract Position
$42.00/Hour

Responsibilities:
- Build and test structural, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components for New Shepard, New Glenn, and Engine programs. Your work will directly contribute to the success of safe, repeatable spaceflight missions.
- Assemble Aerospace Components: Build and assemble structural, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanically actuated sub-assemblies to aerospace standards.
- Collaborate with Engineers: Provide feedback on design concepts to improve ease of assembly and support development testing.
- Plan and Execute Assembly Steps: Review, edit, and follow detailed work instructions, and communicate steps for complex mechanical installations.
- Handle Hazardous Systems: Safely work with systems containing chemicals and/or high-pressure components, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Problem Solving and Teamwork: Work collaboratively in a team environment, managing multiple and changing priorities while solving assembly challenges.
- Support Testing: Assist with hardware testing to ensure compliance with program requirements.
- Maintain Records: Accurately document and maintain records of assembly tasks and procedural compliance.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 3–5+ years of experience in precision assembly, including drilling and preparing close-tolerance holes for structural assembly and fastener installation.
- Hands-on experience assembling and troubleshooting aerospace, military hardware, or related systems.
- Proficiency with standard mechanical tools, fabrication equipment, and shop equipment.
- Technical Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, prints, and work instructions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite for record-keeping and documentation.
- Other Requirements:
- Availability to work Monday–Thursday (10-hour shifts from 5:00 AM–3:30 PM) and potential overtime as needed.
- Ability to follow strict procedural compliance and document assembly tasks accurately.
- Preferred:
- Demonstrated experience working with hazardous systems, chemicals, or high-pressure environments.
- Proven ability to support testing activities in aerospace or other high-precision industries.
Shift Schedule: Monday - Thursday (5:00AM - 3:30PM)
