Job Summary
As a Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our RF-based products and systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans, automating test scripts, and analyzing results. You will be essential in identifying issues, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability while coordinating with an international team of engineers.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop test plans for RF products and systems.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Matlab.
- Conduct RF testing and analysis, including signal integrity, interference, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Analyze test data, generate test reports, and provide feedback for product improvements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Take ownership of equipment and processes to drive issues to resolution and identify root causes.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Proficiency in Python programming for test automation.
- Strong understanding of RF principles, including signal integrity, interference, and performance testing.
- Familiarity with setup and usage of signal analyzers, and signal generators preferred.
- Experience with RF test equipment and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Prefered Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with RF simulation tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to RF engineering.
- Experience with thermal and vibration testing.
- Proven experience in test engineering with a focus on RF products and systems.
U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
The expected pay scale for this position is $86,885/year - $124,245/year. Should the level, location, or scope of the position change during the hiring process, the pay scale may be modified accordingly.
