Description:You will be the Test Engineer Manager for Missiles and Fire Control at our Ocala site. Our team is responsible for ensuring that test equipment is functional, calibrated and operational to be utilized on a 24/7 production schedule. Additionally, ensuring that the test engineering team is capable of providing troubleshooting for assets.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Test Engineer Manager, you will be responsible for leading Test Engineering activities on multiple programs. Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading the team that conducts failure analysis activities, yield trending, software and hardware change maintenance, corrective action development and implementation, capital project planning and execution.
• Performance management of Test Engineers deployed within the assigned mission areas.
• Assisting Test Engineering site lead in talent selection, determining department personnel work assignments, and execution of functional initiatives.
• Coaching and mentoring engineers within the department.
• Contributing to the execution of Test Engineering tasks as required to meet program and department objectives.

This position is located in Ocala, FL. Discover Ocala.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college.
• Previous experience leading Test and/or Engineering teams.
• Experience in electrical manufacturing test processes, project planning, presenting to senior leadership, and demonstrated project management skills
• Must have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experienced production Test Engineer.
• Demonstrated leadership characteristics.
• Experience participating in talent recruitment and/or development.
• Experience functioning as a formal or informal lead responsible for assigning daily work assignments of subordinate or peer engineers
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Familiar with SAP, COTS test equipment, and common test and automation software packages
• Greenbelt trained
• Familiarity with electronic components and common electronic test equipment
• Ability to interpret test requirements and electrical test results
• Ability to conduct detailed failure analysis and develop and implement root cause corrective actions
• Previous experience with programming languages such as C, C++, and National Instrument LabWindows CVI and TestStand is desired
• Ability to manage a team of Test Engineers, electrical engineers and electronics technicians.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
