We are seeking a Sr. Test Engineer who will be responsible for understanding complex electronic devices and systems to establish hardware and software test, design/document automated test equipment (ATE) interfaces, and ATE control software.
What You Will Be Doing
The candidate will integrate ATE software and hardware while demonstrating ATE products to both internal and external customers. Some programming experience is required with LabVIEW/TestStand being preferred.
This person will update the software and hardware of test stations to support a production environment and will work with production operations to get production missiles, test missiles, and other special missiles through the line to meet delivery commitments.
Essential tasks for this key role include:
- Experience with Automated Test Equipment and Factory Acceptance Testing
- Maintenance of Technical Data Package, through Interface Control Documents, Test Requirements, and Software Requirements
- Position is on-site full time and located at the LM-MFC Troy, AL facility
- This position is for a weekend shift and the ability to work 12-hour days Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Once the employee has received proper training they will be working Friday-Sunday 12-hour days on-site in Troy, AL, and can work the final 4 hours each week remotely.
The position has limited flexibility due to the nature of this person being on-site.

Basic Qualifications:
- Secret Security Clearance is required before start with the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
- Experience with Automated Test Equipment.
- Excellent Communication Skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work autonomously
Desired Skills:
- LabVIEW/TestStand/CVI software experience
- Experience with lab test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, and Signal Generators
- Experience with Missile System Development
- Experience in systems development, integration, and production
- Previous experience on a SAP Program

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
