You will demonstrate good Project Management skills, provide technical updates, advice, and guidance to all stakeholders, whilst completing Root Cause Analysis of complex problems to provide appropriate solutions, owning allocated Corrective Actions across all product portfolios.
- Responsible for an allocated Business Unit (BU) Leader, acting as part of the TE Sustainment team that supports all BU associated TE issues and projects.
- Accountable for allocated Business Unit specific Corrective Actions, managing technical content and monitoring progress (to closure) whilst able to escalate resource/priority constraints to senior leaders.
- Provide technical advice to the Test Systems NPI and Response teams.
- Able to work safely in all TE Sustainment Lab Space.
- Drive metrics to capture complexity and rate of progress of projects.
- Mentor less experienced engineers.
- Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews.
- Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments.
- Participate on teams assigned to address organisational initiatives and engineering issues.
- Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned project and/or tasks in line with engineering policies and procedures.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Batchelor’s degree/HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering discipline
- Technical experience
- Basic Project Management skills
- Experience/knowledge working in a highly regulated industry and adhering to a Quality driven system.
- NPI process knowledge/experience
- Experience with configuration/change management tools
- Debugging/fault finding skills
- Hardware/Software integration experience
- Experience working on engineering initiatives within the wider engineering business
- Excellent communication skills to team, peers and all levels of management
