Shape the Future of Aerospace Electrical SystemsPDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Wire Design & Install Engineer to contribute to cutting-edge aerospace projects in Oklahoma City. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating complex electrical systems in aircraft and avionics platforms. You’ll collaborate with top engineers, solve technical challenges, and help build the next generation of aerospace technology.
What You’ll Do- Develop and maintain cable and wire harness designs for aerospace applications.
- Create and refine electrical product details, assembly designs, and installation configurations (e.g., power panels, cable routing, antennas, equipment racks).
- Perform design reviews and engineering analysis to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Provide engineering design dispositions on discrepancies and recommend solutions.
- Work closely with suppliers, conducting technical capability reviews to facilitate source selection.
- Document and refine processes, specifications, and procedures that support electrical system design and manufacturing.
- Analyze functional and physical inputs to develop a fully integrated electrical design.
What You BringRequired Qualifications:- 5+ years of experience in wire design and electrical systems engineering.
- Experience with avionics wire design tools such as Mentor Capital, MAPPER, WIRS, EDART, or equivalent systems.
- This position requires a security clearance, and candidates are required to be U.S. Citizens.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work 100 on-site at a our facility.
- This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in requirements management software (e.g., DOORS) and/or Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) throughout the development lifecycle.
- Previous experience on aircraft or avionics development programs.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to adjust priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Pay Details: $61.45 to $76.93 per hour
