The role:
Finance business partner - Transformation
To support the implementation and the tracking of the finance transformation and wider business transformation, working closely with the senior finance team, finance transformation manager, business teams and transformation management office
To work closely with the business and perform as a finance business partner relating to transformation projects, supporting business cases and tracking projects benefits and investments
To perform the reporting and analysis related to the transformation plan and investment plan and supporting the optimisation of our cost base.
To provide support Senior finance manager and head of finance in the completion of reporting, forecasting and budget process when required.
What you’ll do:
- Work closely with the business and perform as a finance business partner relating to transformation projects, tracking spend and benefits, identifying improvements and providing challenge to the business
- Provide regular update to the Finance Transformation manager and Senior finance team, tracking benefits and costs in cash and P&L items, identifying key inter-dependencies between work streams and risk mapping
- Perform reporting and analysis related to the transformation plan and supporting the optimisation of our cost base
- Support the transformation investment cases, ensuring proposals have all the necessary information and rigueur behind them for the business to make an informed decision
- Support the development and implementation of finance processes improvement through automation, documentation, rationalization and transition to a third party supplier
- Provide support to the senior finance team and FP&A team in the completion of the month-end, forecasting and budget process when required
- Work closely with the Data, Insights & OR, finance and commercial teams to utilize data and systems to produce a consistent, powerful and automated reports for the Cargo Executive Team and internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with the wider finance team to be continuously monitoring internal processes.
What you’ll bring to IAG Cargo:
- Analytical and problem-solving skills including ability to manipulate, analyse and interpret financial and business data.

- Strong business partnering skills, and able to show experience of providing financial support on multi party projects.

- Strong team player with ability to promote good team working and cooperation. Flexible in approach, responding positively to change
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Part-qualified / qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA)
Your experience:
- Accounting background, including reporting and financial analysis
- Good understanding of finance theory and good level of practical finance experience in technical group accounting
- Project management or/and finance transformation experience.
- Business awareness and commercial acumen developed through the application of finance knowledge and experience
- Commercial aptitude to external global threats and how these can impact a business or industry
- Business partnering experience
- Supporting and writing business cases
- Numerate and accurate
