The role we are offering you:

As part of the Finance team of the Products, Aftermarket Services and Customer Service u2013 Civil (CPACS) division, under the direction of the CPACS Lead Finance, you will assume responsibility for the preparation and analysis of financial information. Are you ready to:

• Analyze the revenue recognition criteria and conclude on the appropriate accounting treatment under IFRS;
• Communicate important accounting information by writing memos;
• Actively participate in month-end closing activities;
• Collaborate in the external audit process
• Participate in the implementation of new accounting standards;
• Interact with the various groups (consolidation, taxation, treasury, internal audit, corporate group, etc.) to respond to ad hoc requests for information;
• Prepare the reconciliation of balance sheet items for the various accounts;
• Produce monthly reports and analyzes to back up the groups results that are being presented to managers.
• Perform financial analysis and recommend solutions to identified problems;
• Contribute to the implementation of innovative solutions related to various processes;
• Participate in pilot projects for process optimization, including the integration of artificial intelligence.

Our ideal candidate has:

• University degree in accounting or finance;
• Professional accounting certification (CPA or equivalent);
• Minimum of five years of relevant accounting experience;
• Ability to address complex accounting and finance issues;
• Sense of initiative;
• Decision-making and critical thinking skills;
• Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure in a results-based environment.
• Good interpersonal and relationship management skills;
• Experience in a accounting firm is an asset.
• Good knowledge of Oracle, HFM, and/or Hyperion Planning systems an asset.
