The Stinger Finance organization within the Land and Air Defense Systems (L&ADS) Mission Area has an opportunity for an experienced Principal Program Cost Controls Analyst to support the USG Stinger Missile Replenishment program. The Stinger missile system is a man-portable air defense system (MANPADS) designed to counter low-level, fixed wing, rotary wing, and unmanned aerial systems. As a Principal Program Controls Analyst, you will be given a growth opportunity to learn exciting new technologies while working programs that will continue Raytheon’s legacy as the premier provider of solutions to the warfighter.
The ideal individual for this job will be an excellent communicator with a strong desire to learn new concepts, tools, management processes, and is able to work in a fast-paced team environment while also working across multiple organizations and levels of leadership. This candidate is also detail focused, seeks process improvement and efficiency opportunities, and works to ensure the program successfully executes. This position will provide an opportunity to develop and enhance skills with SAP APEX, PRISM, and a host of other systems within the existing Raytheon earned value management tool suite. This is a challenging and rewarding role with tremendous opportunity for experience and growth.
This role is being offered in an onsite capacity and is based on the needs of the business. Onsite work will be expected in Tucson, AZ, Andover, MA or McKinney, TX. Relocation assistance is not being provided.
What You Will Do:
Prepare weekly and monthly program reports
Support contractual Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) implementation and maintenance including variance analysis, monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development, EVMS CDRL preparation (IPMR, CFSR, CSDR)
Development of quarterly Estimates at Complete (EAC)
Supporting the monthly forecast process which includes coordinating forecast updates with program stakeholders and updating Rplan
Providing support for internal/external program reviews
Ad-hoc support and analysis
Qualifications You Must Have:
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Typically requires Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related field
Typically requires 5 years professional finance/accounting work experience; OR an Advanced degree and 3 years professional finance/accounting work experience
Experience supporting an Earned Value (EV) program or working in an EV environment
Experience with various forms of budgeting and/or forecasting techniques along with financial analysis and/or reporting
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, advanced formulas), Word, & PowerPoint
Experience with performing qualitative or comparative analysis with an emphasis on variance explanation
Ability to demonstrate effective communication and organizational skills
Ability to effectively lead and participate in meetings
Ability to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements
Experience in using SAP Business Systems (APEX, PRISM, BW)
Experience working in a DoD environment
Ability to effectively work in a challenging and fast paced environment while multi-tasking
Team player contributing new ideas

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
