The Managing Director, Division Finance oversees all aspects of the division operating and headcount planning process and coordinates budget and financial results with Corporate Finance, Division Senior Management, and Corporate Accounting to ensure compliance with corporate financial guidelines, policies, and procedures.

  • Oversees financial planning and budgeting for the organization
  • Coordinates and prepares annual operating and headcount budgets
  • Coordinates with the division and Corporate Finance regarding various cost control, strategic, and financial initiatives; monitors and reports monthly spending performance
  • Assists division management in the preparation and analysis of headcount, capital, and operating expense requests
  • Collaborates with external and internal customers on invoice issues
  • Reviews/approves status change and staffing requests

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Demonstrates the highest standards of personal ethics and integrity
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience/training; advanced degree (MBA) or advanced certification (CPA) preferred
  • 10 years of leadership experience
  • 10 years of experience with financial processes and systems

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Experience with budget tracking, variance reporting, and cost analysis, as well as developing and reporting performance metrics
  • Ability to explain financial and accounting concepts to non-financial audiences
  • Ability to influence through outstanding interpersonal skills and build collaborative relationships with, and consensus amongst, multiple stakeholders with varying points of view
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and serve as a role model for all Finance team members
  • Exceptional leadership and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively and clearly communicate a strategic and tactical vision to all levels within the organization
