We are now recruiting a Procurement Environmental Specialist to join our Procurement team in GBS Airbus.

 

Responsibilities - your mission 

The mission of the position is to manage the Procurement Compliance, Regulations & Risks (TOPR) activities related to CDX IT solution deployment and run mode management in the Supply Chain of Airbus Defence and Space. The successful candidate will manage the register of  regulation impacted articles to enable Airbus Defence and Space compliance. The CDX project shall ensure compliance with environmental regulations like REACH and drive procurement to a greener operation.  

 

Essential Functions:

          Act as procurement focal point to different substance replacement projects

         Improve/design/align the procurement strategy for the replacement of hazardous substances in operation

         integrate/animate a multi-stakeholder network to reach targets

         Contribute to Airbus Sustainable ambition for a greener operation

         Coordinate and manage the tasks related to the substance replacement projects within procurement to ensure smooth transitions from current substances/processes to new substances/processes 

         Manage procurement data related to the substance replacement projects

         Report and communicate regularly the status of the different projects

         Support the definition of procurement (negotiation) strategies for substance replacement projects

         Coordinate the involvement of suppliers for substance replacement projects

         Support the project procurement function representative with its tasks in relation to substance replacement

         Ensure the necessary involvement of the stakeholders to guaranty the success of the designed project and of the implemented solution 

 

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have 

         Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in engineering or business administration

         Experience in the aerospace / chemical sector would be a plus

         Experience in project management would be a plus

         Experience of Airbus Defence and Space organization would be a plus

         Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required

         Ability to influence and convince is required

         High level of motivation to lead complex projects

         Strong analytic skills and ability to understand and structure large datasets

         Strong skills and ability to simplify complex issue and concepts

         Strong Excel skills (experience in Google Sheets would be a plus)

         Team spirit and able to work in a dynamic environment

         English: Negotiation level

         French and/or German and/or Spanish would be a plus
