Procurement Field Representative 3

Responsibilities:
- Manage work movement projects between suppliers, ensuring performance, risk mitigation, and on-time parts delivery.
- Collaborate across functions (procurement, suppliers, engineering, manufacturing) to ensure supply chain alignment and address any technical or non-technical issues.
- Conduct on-site supplier assessments to verify capacity, performance, and readiness for work transitions, supporting Boeing’s procurement strategy.
- Provide technical assistance to suppliers in areas like manufacturing and requirements interpretation to ensure schedule compliance and product conformity.
- Track and report supplier performance-to-plan, resolving supply chain discrepancies and maintaining compliance with contractual requirements.
- Lead efforts to identify process improvements for efficiency and performance, including lean manufacturing and inventory control systems.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in Business or Engineering.
- Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in supplier management, supply chain, or procurement.
- 3+ years managing suppliers, performing root cause analysis, or factory management.
- Project management certification preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong background in scheduling, risk management, and problem solving.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier assessment techniques.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
