Job Description:
As a Program Financial Analyst II, you will be using your skills and expertise to review, monitor, and control project data in support of our internal and external project reporting. Youll be responsible for preparing budgets and schedules for contract work and assisting with cost proposals, pricing documentation, "what-if" cost analysis, program cost forecasts, and cost variance analysis. Youll positively impact the business by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.


Position will be financially responsible for a number of program awards and their financial performance that support the IAS AIS Military Aircraft Systems (MAS) business unit. Should be able to analyze month over month financial performance, related health indices, programmatic risk and opportunities effecting program or business unit orders, revenue, and earnings. Should be familiar with, currently assigned or have been assigned to Earned Value Management (EVM) contracts/programs.

Must-haves:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study and typically 2+ years of relevant experience
    • A higher level degree may substitute for experience
    • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Ability to effectively and clearly communicate program and financial related information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports and/or projections
  • Current or former role included assignment to earned value management (EVM) program[s]
  • Familiar with and understands EVM financial health indicators such as SPI, CPI, TCPI, IEAC, etc.
  • Understands true cost schedule integration
  • Some experience in financial planning and analysis having exposure and or input to portfolio orders, revenue, and earnings
  • Experience in proposal development and related pricing initiatives
  • Familiarity with indirect rate structures and application
  • Familiarity with defense and direct commercial contracting
  • A demonstrative evidence of financial acumen
  • Strong communication and soft skill sets
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $71,338.47 - $98,090.40. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
