As a financial controller, you will serve as a co-pilot for our organization&39;s financial performance. The role involves meticulous planning, analysis, and providing valuable insights to drive informed decision-making. The role supports the execution of strategies while ensuring data accuracy and effective communication across teams. Compliance and enforcing finance processes are key responsibilities that we need you to handle diligently. This role is to raise finance awareness within the business, contributing to our overall success.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM 

• To be the Finance Business Partner for Telecom satellite production projects working in unison with the responsible project managers.
• Ensure there is clear communication of the EAC (Estimate at completion) baseline and close monitoring of actual costs against the plan.
• To ensure all deliverables are met with regard to monthly reporting to Primes and to ensure accurate and timely reporting to the local Work Package Managers and Project Managers including forecasting of project resourcing/manpower requirements by work package.
• To be the review point of all financially relevant contractual matters i.e. Supply Contracts, Works Orders or Change Notices.
• To maintain an awareness of the Risks and Opportunities on the projects and to actively support Risk Mitigation and Opportunity Attainment to allow consolidation of Risks and Opportunities at business unit level.
• Produce monthly financial reporting on project Key Performance Indicators comparing Actuals against Budget and Forecast.
• Closely monitor the project cash and work in progress.

ABOUT YOU

• Previous financial experience of working in a project base environment is crucial
• Knowledge of SAP would be highly beneficial
• Experience of working within a large organisation
