Aerotek is currently seeking experienced interiors installers and specialists to join our team in Georgetown, DE to install custom, VIP interiors for high-profile clients. This position offers frequent OT and per diem!
Qualified candidates will be working on BBJ 737s, installing and maintaining aircraft interiors, including upholstery, cabinetry, carpeting, finishes, and paint.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Perform interior modifications, design, conversions, and retrofits.
- Execute post-delivery modifications including interiors, systems, and compliance upgrades.
- Repair and overhaul structural components, and perform modifications and retrofits.
- Reconfigure interiors including modernization and soft goods upgrades (bulkheads, dividers, ceilings, sidewalls, upholstery, cabinetry).
- Modify seats, in-seat power, flat seats, and premium seating.
- Install entertainment systems and monitors.
- Implement LED lighting systems.
- Apply thermal and acoustic insulation packages.
- Paint interiors as required.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience with VIP aircraft interiors (corporate or helicopters).
- Fluent understanding of aircraft interior component removals and installations.
- Proficient in the use of basic hand tools and equipment.
- Experience with interior removal/replacement/modification.
- Possess the minimum required tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment:
- Work will take place in a hangar and in-aircraft at the Georgetown site
- Varying shifts, with frequent OT and per diem
