An opportunity for a Buyer for Aerostructure Procurement Composite Detail Parts (Temp Agency)has arisen within Airbus Operations, Getafe (Madrid).

RESPONSIBILITIES 

You want to take part in strategic sourcing projects, you are ready to challenge and influence internal and external stakeholders, you have a curious and open mindset?

Join our dynamic and multi-cultural Airbus Procurement Aerostructures fuselage and Composite Detail Parts team in charge of procuring structural products to different Airbus programme platforms.

You will be responsible for Tactical Sourcing activities and Contract Management, liaising with international suppliers and diverse internal stakeholders. You will manage contract negotiations to achieve business targets. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn and grow, being part of a friendly and experienced team.

Main tasks:

- Monitor the execution of the contracts (during innovation, development, serial and support phases) with suppliers and Company&39;s stakeholders to achieve through out the contract life cycle the optimized application of terms and conditions. In particular to ensure suppliers are delivering expected performance in all dimensions (Logistics, support, quality, costs...)

- Manage the day to day business relationships with suppliers and running projects to optimize customer value, while minimizing total cost of ownership & risks (ToW, Claims, Capex, Serial Modifications impact, AOP management/updates...)

- Lead Work Package Teams & feed Multi Functional Team decision process - Contribute to definition & implementation of MFT & commodity&39;s strategy

- Contribute to products policy with stakeholders through R&T, DtC, incremental development, transversal projects...

- Contribute to the sourcing activity, manage the tendering and the contract negotiation to achieve the best purchasing conditions in accordance within Company requirements.

SKILLS

You will have the following attributes.

- Procurement experience

-Commercial and contractual background is welcomed Proven successful experience in teamwork in intercultural & multi-functional environment 

- Efficient project management & Negotiation skills

- Financial key indicators knowledge

- Know-how of the Aerostructures market, technical basics and supplier strategies Communication & soft skills, especially with suppliers’ representatives and internal stakeholders

- Customer expectations knowledge

- Negotiation level in English
