Your day-to-day 

  • Identify, evaluate and develop suppliers to meet the current and future needs of the business;
  • Identify areas of risk in the supply chain, effectively prioritise, develop and implement plans to mitigate such risks;
  • Reporting of KPI’s, analysis and development of improvement plans;
  • Manage supplier performance by recognising both positive and negative achievements and communicate effectively to promote the pursuit of excellence and best practice both internally and externally;
  • Continuously benchspan suppliers, analyse pricing trends, utilise cost models and cost break down to be able to reject price increases, to achieve price reductions and best value/total cost of ownership solutions;
  • Scouting new suppliers in order to achieve price reduction target, improve quality and service.  
  • Work with mindset of strategic category management approach, spend consolidation and simplification.   

Who we are looking for

  • Excellent negotiation skills, matured through purchasing-related roles of increasing responsibility within multinational companies;
  • Results oriented and analytical approach;
  • Good networking and communication skills;
  • Able to make sound decisions and cope with pressure of demanding targets and deadlines;
  • Good knowledge of Italian and English.
