Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

• Monitor and maintain chemical tanks to ensure that concentrations and temperatures are within spec.
• Process all work through the tanks following the defined processes.
• Communicate Expedite parts to downstream customers.
• Follow requirements on the job travelers and record work in E10/MES.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing, 6-sigma, 5S and/or equivalent methodologies to continually make improvements in safety, quality, throughput, and cost.
• Read the manufacturing file
• Check the availability of everything required to carry out your task, and bring them to the workstation
• Apply the products in accordance with the technical process and health and safety rules
• On completion of painting, check that the operations carried out comply fully with the definition and/or manufacturing file: check the surface (application, appearance, depth, etc.), and rework where necessary
• Complete the tracking documents
• Clean and tidy the workstation and health and safety equipment

Profile and other information related to the position

Position Requirements:

• High School graduate or GED.

• 0-2 years of related experience.

• Familiar with and able to perform basic functions in MS Windows 7, MS Office Suite, and Internet Explorer.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to demonstrate good analytical skills, alphanumeric accuracy, and reading comprehension.
