JOB TITLE: Composite Repair Technician

Summary:
Lay out, assemble, pre-fit, and bond metal, composite, or laminate parts, assemblies, and equipment.
Follow engineering and manufacturing specifications to determine bonding requirements, including temperature and pressure.
Cut parts or materials to size and apply sealing resins to cut or exposed edges.
Operate autoclaves, hydraulic presses, and ovens to complete bonding cycles.
Sand, burr, and smooth bonded areas as needed.
Perform complex rework or repairs as required.
Verify quality in accordance with controlled procedures.
Use lay-up tools (optical and hard tools) for composite and metal assembly fabrication.
Read and interpret prints, charts, sketches, work orders, and technical documents.
Use precision measuring instruments and shop mathematics for accurate assembly.
Maintain and certify tools and equipment per procedures.
Handle and control solvents/cleaning solutions per established guidelines.
Perform routine minor machine maintenance.
Support production flow by training and assisting other employees.
MVP qualification training provided.
Required Skills:
2-5 years of Composite Repair experience (Aerospace experience required).
Ability to start ASAP and work any shift, including overtime/weekends as needed.
Must be able to stand and work for a full 8-hour shift.
Local candidates strongly preferred.
