Job Description SummaryAs the Consignment Planning and Execution Specialist, you will responsible for planning and scheduling material to meet production needs. Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own desk. Has significant input into priorities. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage master planning, material processes and systems. Prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Optimize alignment between supply and demand.
- Develop manufacturing plan requirements for tier 1 supplier and indirect raw material input. Proactively validate inventory levels and transact adjustments at tier 1 to ensure raw material alignment.
- Create raw material component and establish item attributes for indirect material purchases that align with engineering configuration.
- Communicate across configuration management, planning and sourcing delivery with ability to clearly and concisely identify requirements to supply base.
- Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- Engage in the S&OP supply process to understand impact of change on production schedules and provide feedback on sources ability to support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or institution (OR a High school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years experience in manufacturing, materials, production planning, sourcing or supply chain operations )
- A minimum of 3 years in manufacturing, materials, production planning, sourcing or supply chain operations

- Supply planning knowledge preferred
