JOB SUMMARY:
Manages and coordinates the daily activities and resources for all MRO sites with regards to Supply Chain activities. Responsible for department wide compliance, monitoring, and improvement MRO buyers and warehouse activities. Works closely with all MRO and Customer Support Department leaders to ensure that all buying, and warehouse activities are coordinated effectively, and all operator needs are met.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
- Direct overall MRO supply chain operations, including purchasing, forecasting, inventory, and distribution for the WH MRO operation.
- Work closely with the Spares and MRO teams to forecast MRO requirements.
- Ensure that MRO stocking locations are run efficiently and compliantly.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure that critical processes are optimized and KPIs developed and monitored.
- Perform root cause and corrective action investigations as required.
- Prepare, execute, and reforecast budget information annually,
- Ensure dept. budget goals are met.
- Work closely with MRO leadership to ensure that there is a high level of service for each site.
- Monitor and coordinate activities of department employees to ensure all department goals are met or exceeded.
- Ensure issues are resolved quickly.
- Responsible for selection of training, job assignments, and shift schedules for the supply chain team
- Ensuring that the buying team is actively involved in all AOGs on a consistent basis with regards to buying for DFJ Go Teams and any other requirements.
- Work closely with Spares leadership to determine efficiency gains between MRO Supply Chain and the Spares organization.
- Learn and master SAP and corridor systems.
- Develop reports as needed to support KPIs
- Ensure the tool rooms are managed and controlled accordingly

NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
- Assist VP, Customer Experience with ancillary duties as required.
- Attend and participate in internal and external workshops and industry events as needed.
- Work with all MRO sites and other departments for forecasting
- Complete all special projects as assigned by the VP, Customer Experience.
- Suggest methods of product improvement in a manner designed to promote safety, efficiency, and/or reduced cost of operations.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 10 years of Supply Chain experience
- Bachelors degree (purchasing, supply chain, logistics or equivalent)
- Supervisory and management experience.
- Excellent leadership skills- willing and able to lead by example
- Excellent communications skills (verbal, written, etc).
- Advanced personal computer skills
- Demonstrate strong customer service orientation.
- U.S. Automobile drivers license
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in an Aviation discipline
- FAA Pilots, Dispatchers, or A&P license
- French language skills a plus
- Supply Chain experience in an MRO environment
- MRO operations experience
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Fast paced office environment
- Computer applications and use of keyboard
- Some travel is required, approximately 15-30 of the time.
- Holiday and weekend coverage may be required, i.e. Flexibility of personal schedules is required.
