We have an exciting remote opportunity for a Global Trade Supply Chain Site Lead to join our team!
What You Will Do:
Provide day to day export guidance to a diverse Global Supply Chain organization. Work closely with Operations, Quality, and Core Legal GT teams to provide guidance and resolve Global Trades issues. Identify compliance risks, conduct/assist audits and development of plans to eliminate/mitigate export risks. Report all potential Global Trades concerns consistent with PW & RTX Global Trades requirements.
- Lead/facilitate export investigations and DIVEs to ensure root cause is identified and sustained corrective action is put into place to drive down escapes.
- Ensure the export jurisdiction & classification determinations are recorded for all items, technology, & software, and export spanings are fully applied.
- Support on-site Global Trades infrastructure including part-time Global Trades Focals and authorized users of export licenses and/or owners of such authorizations.
- Produce and present Senior Management reports.
- Ensure the screening of suppliers, vendors, customers, & visitors is conducted per RTX and P&W policy.
- Assist sites in deploying standard work/written procedures for implementation of Global Trades control processes.
- Own the Global Trade self-assessment process for the site, including continuous improvement, validation and audit.
- Ensure facility controls are consistent with RTX Global Trades Facility Management Policy.
- Deploy & maintain Global Trades Site Control Plan, act as custodian for other Technology Control Plans etc. Screen Suppliers, vendors, customers & visitors.
- Support GSC Regional Offices & the Supplier Development Organization when presented with Global Trades issues and concerns.
- Support deployment of Global Trades training curriculum, as applicable to site employees.
- Responsible to implement Import/Customs compliance programs and support clearance related issues. Work with PW GT Import teams to ensure GT issues are reported and RCCA are implemented.
- Actively support implementation and sustainment of a compliance program consistent with local (non-U.S.) trade compliance laws and regulations, as applicable, in addition to RTX and P&W policy.
- Represent Operations and Quality GT as required, in GT initiatives led by the GT Legal organization and ensure that business unit needs and requirements are sufficiently addressed in these initiatives and process improvement projects.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelors degree and 10+ years of professional experience in Global Trade, including 2+ years experience in Global Trade Compliance (prior full/part time GT professional role); OR an advanced degree and 7+ years of professional experience in Global Trade, including 2+ years experience in Global Trade Compliance (prior full/part time GT professional role).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen – this position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
