Head of Commercial & Supply Chain

Job Description:

Tasks

Own all contracts and supplier relationships
Ensure compliance with aviation regulations in procurement, contracting, and the storage and handling of spare parts
Drive excellence in procurement, inventory management and supply chain to meet both strategic and daily operational needs
Lead and coordinate the technical aspects of the leasing contracts, maintenance reserves and due diligence for fleet phase-ins and -outs
Build cross-departmental partnerships within SN and across the LHG to align on commercial strategies and initiatives.
Inspire and lead a team of ~ 40-45 professionals, fostering growth and adaptability in a dynamic environment
Final responsible for all logistics and warehouse activities
Oversee a ~ 200M annual budget, with a focus on compliance, cost control and recovery planning.

Requirements

Master’s in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
10+ years in procurement, with 5+ years in leadership, ideally in aviation.
Expertise in commercial processes, supplier management, and complex contract management.
Strong analytical, leadership, and negotiation skills.
Fluent in English, Dutch/French is a plus
