As Head of Commercial & Supply Chain, youll take the lead in shaping and driving the commercial strategy and optimizing supply chain operations of our Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) department, directly impacting the efficiency and success of our growing operation.

Your Mission:

• Own all contracts and strategic supplier relationships within M&E.
•  Ensure compliance with aviation regulations in procurement, contracting, and the storage and handling of spare parts.
• Drive excellence in procurement, inventory management and supply chain to meet both strategic and daily operational needs.
• Lead and coordinate the technical aspects of the leasing contracts, maintenance reserves and due diligence for fleet phase-ins and phase-outs
• Build cross-departmental partnerships within Brussels Airlines and across the Lufthansa Group (LHG) to align on commercial strategies and initiatives.
• Inspire and lead a team of ~ 40-45 professionals, fostering growth and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
• Final responsible for all logistics and warehouse activities within M&E
• Oversee a ~ 200M annual budget, with a focus on compliance, cost control and recovery planning.

What You Bring:

• Master’s in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in procurement, with 5+ years in leadership, ideally in aviation.
• Expertise in commercial processes, supplier management, and complex contract management.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English, Dutch/French is a plus
