Roles and Responsibilities:
Role Summary:
Conduct basic mechanical/electrical set-up and testing on assemblies/materials
Perform basic test equipment preventative maintenance
Utilizing strong attention to detail, conduct visual inspections
Use sampling techniques/plans and record information
Interpret documents for marking and serialization per customer requirements
Review, update and complete detailed documentation for document archival per quality requirements (i.e. route sheets, ESS logs, test datasheets, etc.)
Accurately complete a Material Discrepancy Report (MDR)
Work with fulfillment and management personnel to expedite customer demands
Essential Responsibilities
In addition, you will:
Perform internal audits
Complete dimensional / electrical trainings as required
Certified in special process inspections (i.e. weld, braze, solder, etc.)
Interpret drawings, quality procedures, instructions, and specifications which may be technical in nature
Qualifications/Requirements
Actively participate in a teaming environment that uses lean and 5S practices to improve products and processes
Basic computer, math, and ERP skills
Proficient written and verbal communications skills
Two (2) years of inspection or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
Understanding of basic inspection requirements
Proficient in dimensional aptitude
Basic troubleshooting and mechanical skills
Knowledge of electrical components and test methods
Knowledge of AS9100/Quality System requirements
Knowledge of mechanical inspection tools (specialty gages, calipers etc.)
Eligibility Requirements:
Ability to frequently lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 25 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
High School diploma or GED
Subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with DOT and FAA regulations as required
Desired Characteristics:
Excellent attendance history
Ability to produce error free products
