To support the Materials department, this internship will assist to drive digital transformation by developing automation solutions, leveraging data analytics, and implementing modern supply chain tools to boost business efficiency and strengthened resilience.

Responsibilities:

• Apply data analytics, automation tools and digital tracking systems to optimize inventory management and streamline materials flow.
• Develop Problem-Solving Skills by understanding and addressing current supply chain issues, such as casting shortages and cash flow constraints, using innovative and digital approaches.
• Align digital solutions with business objectives to support long-term strategy and resilience in the materials department.

Project Involvement:

• Develop a data-driven approach to monitor supplier performance and predict potential disruptions.
• Enable proactive management in managing casting supply shortages and determine hours and COS impact.
• Assist in implementing digital tools to track inventory more effectively.
• Refine demand forecasting methods to improve accuracy.
• Align inventory levels with projected sales to enhance operational efficiency.
