Under the direction of the Material Control leadership, performs a variety of duties in the coordination of activities required to meet schedules and goals. Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Process incoming finished parts and assemblies into inventory.
Verify final inspection and traceability requirements.
Check parts received against accompanying documentation.
Perform kit pulls as required. On occasion may perform receiving or shipping function by preparing the necessary documentation for parts requiring shipment per approved methods.
Coordinate with cell planner as to planned work order releases in order to stage piece parts for kitting. Review upcoming shipping requirements and prep are in advance of all packaging materials required for shipment.
May assist receiving inspection and or packaging product for incoming acceptance.
Must be able to maintain quality of work to avoid errors that may be serious, involving losses such as improper costs, delays of processes, services and operations, loss or holding up of production. Most work will not be subject to direct verification or check.
Must be able to perform multiple tasks and make decisions under tight schedules in order to support customer requirements.
Perform backup Stores Coordinator duties in any Cell.
Maintain minimum levels of packaging materials needed for shipments.
Qualifications:
High School diploma and/or equivalent.
1 to 3 years of training in a related occupation.
Entry level position, 6 months to 2 years experience preferred.
