Position Summary

Responsible for the timely supply of materials, from the follow-up of the placement of purchase orders to the receipt of raw materials in the receiving area. Optimizing inventory in order to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Placing purchase orders with authorized suppliers, ensuring their delivery in a timely manner according to the delivery time previously negotiated by Sourcing.
• Monitoring and evaluating, together with the Sourcing department, the performance of the suppliers.
• Participating in scheduled visits to and from active suppliers.
• Reviewing the MRP for production requirements, both time and material.
• Aligning with the inventory reduction program by constantly evaluating inventory levels to prevent or identify excesses.
• Performing the necessary system operations to support product line transfers and new products.
• Incorporating control and order systems including KANBAN, MRP, JIT, PFEP, CONSIGNMENT MATERIAL
• Monitoring standard quantities of desired inventory and ensuring they are maintained.
• Carrying out the analysis of the disposition of the excess and obsolete Inventory and taking preventive measures.
• Monitoring the correct flow of materials both with the supplier (through expediting), and in the plant and verifying that it is in accordance with procedures.
• Constant communication with Customer Service for establishments and expediting of customer orders as required.
• Following and developing quality system procedures, SAC system internal auditing.
• Development and Implementation of continuous improvement projects based on Lean Manufacturing

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Industrial Engineering or related
• 2 years or more as a Production Planner, Buyer.
• 3 years or more in a position within the Supply Chain.
• Management of Production Plans such as MRP, PFEP, KanBan
• Consignment, Demand Analysis
• Management of inventory levels, Procurement and Expediting of Materials
• Bilingual +90 (Conversational English)
