Job Title: Lead Cable Harness Assembler
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Lead Cable Harness Assembler who will perform bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies using hand tools and electric tooling. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards, lead a team of assemblers, and ensure high-quality production of wiring harnesses.
Responsibilities
- Perform wire cutting, twisting, crimping, soldering, splicing, and inserting operations.
- Conduct in-process inspections to ensure quality.
- Assemble wiring harnesses in compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
- Route and secure wire harnesses within vehicle assemblies as per engineering documentation.
- Conduct electrical continuity tests and inspections to identify and resolve issues.
- Lead a team of 5-6 assemblers to ensure timely and quality production.
Essential Skills- Experience with cable assembly.
- Proficiency in assembling wiring harnesses in compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
- Ability to conduct electrical continuity tests and inspections.
- Strong leadership skills to manage a team of 5-6 assemblers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation.
- Experience with hand tools and electric tooling.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Van Nuys, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $48.00/hr.
