What are your contributions to the team?
- Manage Quotations: Escalation point for supplier quotation challenges (price, work scope, quality, warranty) for afterspanet rotable parts.
- Technical Reviews: Oversee thorough technical reviews and rebilling process of core returns to ensuring maximization of additional Repair & Overhaul expense is recuperated.
- Component Reliability: Responsible on Logistics activities that we remove “bad actor/Rogue” parts from inventory.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of parts and minimize downtime.
- Supplier Coordination: Work closely with suppliers to ensure escalated issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Reporting: Continue governance evolution for maximum visibility and process efficiency.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the aerospace or automotive industry.
- Leadership experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand and enforce Contract terms and conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage a remote, multi-site team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
