Position Summary:

AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Mobile, Alabama that is an international pioneer in the aerospace industry. They are a leader in designing, manufacturing and delivering aerospace products, services and solutions to customers on a global scale. A commercial aircraft manufacturer, with Space and Defense as well as Helicopters Divisions, they are the largest aeronautics and space company in Europe and a worldwide leader.


A logistics coordinator manages the storage and transportation of inventory, and ensures the smooth running of a companys supply chain.


Essential Functions:

  • Evaluates sequence of fabrication, assembly, and installation of the product for the assigned area(s) and identifies all applicable materials/parts requirements for the supplied build plans/tasks.
  • Upon identification of materials/parts requirements, seeks to order, track and follow-up on the needed OSW parts. Keeps constant communication with local and international suppliers until part requirements are fulfilled.
  • Upon status changes of OSW parts, updates the client system(s), spreadsheet(s), document(s) and other monitoring platforms to reflect current status.
  • Produce daily, weekly and adhoc reports.
  • Perform visual inspection of materials/parts received for physical damages. Report and replace any defect parts.
  • Prep and package parts to tasks.
  • Track, monitor and take ownership to resolve blocking points prior to commencement of work.
Requirements
  • 3+ years’ experience working in an aerospace or automotive manufacturing or MRO environment.
  • Bachelors in business or technical field a+.
  • Authorized to work in the USA.
  • Has well developed skills in the following competencies: Interpersonal skills; Mathematical skills, Time Management, and a head for business.
  • Very organized and can develop and follow a logical workflow with supporting documents.
  • Ability to use all of the following PC applications: Windows 10, Google Suite (Docs, Spreadsheet, and Slides), and SAP.
  • Must be able to communicate in a concise and effective manner.
  • Must be able to speak to both small and large audiences internally and externally confidently and effectively.
  • Can work autonomously
