Job Description:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• High School Diploma or an equivalent
• Proficient in the English language
• Two or more years of experience operating mills and lathes with the ability to make a bushing with little to no supervision
• Some CNC Machine operating experience (Years of education will be considered)
• This position is safety sensitive and adheres to DOT drug and alcohol regulations
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operate mills and lathes
• Fabricate and repair high tolerance bushings within scheduled deadlines
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering plans and other technical data
• Requisite and maintain raw materials and tools
• Some setup and operation of CNC (HAAS) machine
• Routinely perform preventative maintenance and repairs on machinery
• Wear proper personal protective equipment as necessary
• Coordinate with and support the CNC operator and other machinists as necessary
• May be required to work an occasional weekend or evening shift to meet deadlines
