As a Material Handler Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and storage of materials within our Industrial Automation business.
You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and work out of our Dayton, OH location.
In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate movement of materials, ensuring that production lines have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand. You will also be involved in inventory management, cycle counting, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move materials within the warehouse
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and quality
- Pick, pack, and stage materials for production lines, following standard operating procedures
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any material-related issues or discrepancies

YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in material handling or warehouse operations
- Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
