Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Northridge, CA is currently seeking a Material Requirements Planning Analyst level 3 or 4 to join the team in supporting various programs (AARGM-ER, SiAW) within the Advanced Weapons Business Unit.
This position requires the selected candidate to work on-site in Northridge, CA on a 9/80 schedule. Telework is not available for this position. Some relocation assistance, while not guaranteed, may be available.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and analyze material requirements; establish and execute priorities
- Analyze system data to prepare material requirements per schedule
- Create Manufacturing work orders and Purchase requisition
- Identify material shortage requirements and develop solutions to complex problems. Expedite repair and material requirements as needed
- Resolve schedule, material requirement or business system problems with cross-functional representatives as well as master schedules and production problems
- Coordinates interdepartmental activity with Mission Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Receiving, Shipping and Inventory Control
- Review and track internal status of actions and participate in internal production meetings and communicate status changes to program management, IPTs and stake holders in a timely manner
- Create material or service requisitions. Responsible to ensure availability of all materials required to support completion of program repairs
- Ensure timely and accurate material forecasting to support on-going activity
Basic Qualifications Level 3:
Must have a High School diploma/GED and 10 years of direct relevant experience in supply chain, material management, production or development environment. 6 Years with Bachelors; 4 Years with Masters
- Experience should be in a Development, Production, Repair, and/or Depot environment
- Must have demonstrated analytical skills required for determining priorities, lead times, and shop floor schedules
- Have basic proficiency with MS Office Suite; Excel, Work, PowerPoint (i.e. working with tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting
- Ability to obtain and retain a DoD Secret Clearance
Basic Qualifications Level 4:
Must have a High School diploma/GED and 14 years of direct relevant experience in supply chain, material management, production or development environment. 10 Years with Bachelors; 8 Years with Masters
- Experience should be in a Development, Production, Repair, and/or Depot environment
- Must have demonstrated analytical skills required for determining priorities, lead times, and shop floor schedules
- Have basic proficiency with MS Office Suite; Excel, Work, PowerPoint (i.e. working with tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPIM or APICS training.
- Costpoint ERP experience in an MRP environment
- TIPQA experience
- Lean manufacturing and process improvement experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project
- Experience with Earned Value Management a plus
- Experience in Development programs a plus
- Inventory experience a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly express oneself. Have excellent presentation, project and organizational skills
- Active Secret Clearance
Salary Range: $80,600 - $121,000
Salary Range 2: $100,000 - $150,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
