Job Description:
As the Critical Item focal point you will contribute to a task force aimed at securing critical materials and parts on the market for both Airbus and its supply chain. Manage a diverse and international supplier base and find solutions in this highly dynamic environment.
To ensure a sustainable engagement, you will build and facilitate a strong relationship between critical suppliers and industrial partners.
Contribute to the sourcing activity, manage the tendering and the contract negotiation to achieve the best purchasing conditions in accordance within Company requirements (Internal - External).
Monitor the contract (during innovation, development, serial and support phases) with suppliers and Company stakeholders to achieve through out the contract life cycle a complete application of terms
and conditions to ensure suppliers deliver expected performance in all dimensions (Logistics, support, quality, cost...).
Manage the day to day relationships with suppliers and running projects to optimize customer value, while minimizing total cost of ownership & risks.
Contribute to the Multifunctional/Multidivisional teams all along the tendering, contracting and contract life cycle phases.
Conducting market research to identify and contract best value suppliers for critical items.
