Tasks
The key responsibilities and duties of the Material Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and maintain material supply schedules to meet production needs
- Oversee daily work order material management, including stock sourcing and purchasing coordination
- Assess volume requirements, ensuring alignment with production plans
- Identify and mitigate material risks to prevent production disruptions
- Ensure accurate data in MRP/ERP systems and resolve any discrepancies
- Monitor BOM integrity and support inventory accuracy
- Optimize material flow to production points and manage inventory levels
- Implement and improve supply processes while supporting continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality regulations
- Maintain housekeeping standards and support industrial relations
- Train personnel as needed based on qualifications and experience
Requirements
The ideal Candidate should meet the following requirements:
- GCSE or Equivalent
- Degree or Equivalent in a relevant subject (desirable)
- Apprenticeship (desirable)
- Material planning experience, preferably in aviation
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of BoM, routing, and production planning (MRP, scheduling)
- Understanding of LEAN, JIT, and process improvement with hands-on experience

Working Conditions
- Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday (as needed)
- 5S standard
- 37.5 hours per week
- Shift work (early & late)
