Job Description SummaryThis position is open for 2nd Shift. Anticipated work schedule is Monday thru Friday, hours of 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm.
Training for the first 3-4 months need to occur on day shift hours: Monday thru Friday with anticipated hours 7:30am to 3:30 pm. Will move to 2nd shift after SAP go-live in late August to early September2024.

Role Summary/Purpose:
Job Description Summary
Ensure an uninterrupted supply of materials to support production and sales. Work to resolve Materials issues while achieving and maintaining inventory business metrics. This role is heavily based in SAP with Shop Operations orders approval.
Key Responsibilities Include:
SAP approvals for all shop requests for parts while on shift
Overall ownership of material ordering, availability, and scheduling targeting 2-week inventory levels, at a minimum
Rescheduling materials for pull ins (expedites) and push outs (for inventory control)
Daily Shortage Management – data input/updates
Establish flow/priorities for Warehousing and Receiving to achieve urgent product delivery to Manufacturing.
Input Airway bills upon shipments to vendors
Conduct daily walks on the warehouse floor and the receiving dock to investigate and resolve material issues/problem shelves
Assist in cycle count efforts as needed
Support lean activities, initiatives, and action workouts
Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and support corrective actions
Position may evolve to include other duties as required as the business needs change
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma and 1 - 2 years of buyer, supply chain, materials, production scheduling, or related business experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field
- Proficient in MS Excel
- SAP (or equivalent system) knowledge and experience
- Six Sigma Green Belt
- Working knowledge of MRP
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
