Schedule: Monday to Friday, First Shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $27.50/hr.

At PDS Tech Commercial, we’re seeking a talented Metallurgical Lab Analyst to join the cutting-edge Additive Design and Manufacturing (ADaM) team. In this pivotal role, you’ll play a critical part in advancing aerospace innovation through material testing and analysis.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your day-to-day will be dynamic, challenging, and rewarding:
Material Analysis: Prepare and evaluate metallurgical specimens for microscopy, mechanical testing, and powder sample assessment.
Testing Expertise: Conduct hardness, tensile strength, fatigue testing, and analyze chemical compositions of metal powders.
Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with material science, quality, and engineering teams to execute tests and maintain documentation.
Lab Management: Maintain equipment, ensure regulatory compliance, track inventory, and implement preventative maintenance programs.
Data Integration: Collaborate on automated systems to collect, analyze, and report test data using PLM, ERP, and MES systems like Teamcenter, SAP, and Solumina.
Regulatory Excellence: Uphold quality management standards, including AS9100 compliance.
Hands-On Support: Cross-train in other facility operations, including powder handling, dimensional inspection, and equipment operation.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
AA/AS degree + 2 years of experience, or a University degree, or 4 years of relevant experience.
2+ years of experience in metallurgical lab environments and Microsoft Office proficiency.
Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Precision and manual dexterity for equipment operation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on knowledge of Metal Additive Manufacturing (AM) processes.
Experience with image/data documentation and reporting.
Familiarity with metal powder handling and testing.
Proficiency in creating and maintaining laboratory test standards.

Pay Details: $27.50 per hour
