Job Summary

Raytheon Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Operations and Supply Chain Strategy Development Professional. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategies to optimize operations and supply chain activities across multiple sites.  A main area of focus will be support of Make / Buy Where policy roll out, implementation, improvement and adherence.

What You Will Do:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the Senior Strategy Lead to develop long-term and short-term operations and supply chain strategies. Ensure these strategies align with the overall business objectives and enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.

  • Portfolio Support: Communicate and assure Product Portfolio and Strategic Business Unit alignment on strategic initiatives inclusive of make / buy where. Ensure seamless coordination and integration of activities across various sites.

  • Leadership Interaction: Work closely with senior leadership and other key stakeholders to communicate strategy, gain alignment, and ensure successful implementation. Participate in high-level meetings to provide insights and updates on operations and supply chain initiatives.

  • Multi-Site Coordination: Facilitate the coordination of operations and supply chain strategies across multiple domestic and international sites. Ensure consistency in processes, standards, and best practices to achieve operational excellence.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track key themes and evaluate to identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous enhancement.

  • Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks within the Raytheon Business related to Operations and Supply Chain. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity and minimize disruptions.

  • Process Optimization: Lead initiatives aimed at streamlining processes, reducing costs, and improving overall efficiency. Implement innovative solutions and best practices to enhance the performance of the business.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with various departments including engineering, program office, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, quality assurance etc. to ensure alignment of strategies with product development and production needs.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships across Raytheon Technologies. Ensure the operations and supply chain strategies are customer-centric and meet the requirements and expectations of the business and our end-customers.

  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within all projects and efforts. Encourage the adoption of lean principles (CORE) and other methodologies to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience in the aerospace or defense industry, particularly within a multi-factory environment.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and innovative approach to finding solutions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

  • Familiarity with Raytheons product lines and strategic business units.

  • Certification in Program Management is a plus.

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing strategies that drive operational excellence.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
